Becca Tarter Joiner was born and raised in Kentucky. In 2022, she received her BFA in Studio Art from Washington University in St. Louis along with earning the Horwitz Photography Award. After graduating she worked in the film industry as an Art Director and Set Designer. Currently, Joiner is an MFA candidate in Studio Art at the University of Kentucky.
